About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Civil Designer to join our team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and clarity of drawings, as well as adhering to relevant standards and project requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned designer with experience in plant construction packages.
Key Responsibilities
- Checking of drawings on time and within budget
- Ensuring clarity and accuracy of drawings
- Adhering to CAD Procedures
- Demonstrating knowledge of applicable standards and company Drafting Procedures
- Accurate completion and timely submission of timesheets
- Maintaining adherence to project man-hour budgets
- Upholding company Standards and Procedures
- Assisting with training of junior draughtspersons
Requirements
- Civil Diploma or equivalent
- Experience with Intergraph Smartplant 3D Structural modelling software package
- Experience with Bentley Microstation 3D CAD software package version 8 or later
- Minimum 10 years design draughting experience in the mining and minerals processing area
