About the Role
A Telecommunications Engineer is required to join a New Zealand-based company, working abroad on a project basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and installing telecommunication products, systems, and network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and install telecommunication products, systems, and network infrastructure
- Perform maintenance and monitoring of networks, hardware, and software components
- Troubleshoot issues with network, hardware, and software components
- Conduct security and compliance checks for network, hardware, and software components
Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering Degree (NZQF Level 7 or 8) in Networking or relevant fields
- Minimum of 5 years related experience
- Knowledge of IP networking, RF, Fibre installations, router configurations/programming, and cloud technologies
- Experience in WISP installations/configurations/programming
