About the Role
Greet customers and schedule service appointments in a fast-paced dealership environment. As a Service Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their vehicle issues are addressed promptly.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and schedule service appointments
- Accurately capture customer concerns and vehicle details
- Open and manage job cards
- Provide service estimates and explain recommended repairs
- Liaise with technicians and the workshop manager regarding vehicle progress
- Keep customers updated on repair status and costs
- Ensure timely invoicing and handover of vehicles
- Handle queries and resolve customer concerns professionally
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Valid driver’s license (essential)
- Proven experience as a Service Advisor within a motor dealership (essential)
- Strong knowledge of automotive service processes
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Computer literate (experience with dealership management systems advantageous)
