George: School Bus Driver (4-5 hours a day) posted by The Talent Room

• Transport learners safely to and from school according to scheduled routes.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus to ensure roadworthiness.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle.
• Uphold strict safety protocols, including ensuring all learners are seated and secure before departure.
• Keep accurate records of trips, attendance, fuel usage, and incidents.
• Immediately report any mechanical issues, delays, or safety concerns.
• Maintain a calm, professional demeanour when dealing with learners and parents.
• Follow all traffic laws, school rules, and transport regulations.
• Ensure learners are dropped off only at approved stops and supervised until safely transferred.

Requirements:

• Valid South African Driver’s Licence (Code 10/C1 or Code 14 preferred).
• Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP).
• Minimum 2–5 years driving experience, preferably transporting passengers.
• Clear criminal record.
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with learners, parents, and staff.
• Reliable, punctual, responsible, and patient.
• Working Hours from 12:00 – 16:00 daily
• Off on School holidays
