About the Role

Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a Procurement and Quality Officer to join their team in the mining industry in Limpopo. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process and ensuring quality standards are met within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective sourcing of materials, equipment, and services.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure procurement needs are met and align with company objectives.
  • Oversee the quality control process to ensure products and services meet standards and specifications.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement quality management systems to track performance and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Relevant Trade Test Certificate.
  • N2 Engineering Studies.
  • Code 08 (EB) Drivers License.
  • National Diploma in Purchasing/Procurement/Supply Chain Management.
  • 2 years of practical technical (repairs) procurement experience.
  • 2 years of extensive experience in TMM/Foreman.
