Hire Resolves client is looking for an Automation Technician to join their team in Germiston. This client manufactures and supplies a broad range of high-quality steel and resin-based rock support product solutions, supported by innovative research and development.

Requirements: 

• Proven experience as an Automation Technician or similar role
• Electrical and Mechanical Qualifications
• Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) – Siemens, Delta and Allen Bradley PLC systems programming and fault finding
• Strong understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Technical training in automation technology, electrical engineering, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience working with industrial machinery and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
• Knowledge and hands-on experience, mechanical, Electrical, PLC and Automated systems maintenance
• Database management
• Knowledge of mathematics as it relates to arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their various applications
