We are seeking a reliable and friendly Cashier to join our team. This is a great opportunity for an individual who enjoys working with customers and handling transactions in a fast-paced retail environment.Job DescriptionWe are looking for a motivated and customer-oriented Cashier to process transactions, manage the cash register, and provide excellent service to customers. As a Cashier, you will be the face of our company, ensuring every customer interaction is positive, while maintaining accurate financial records.Responsibilities- Operate cash registers and handle monetary transactions with accuracy.- Greet and assist customers with their purchases.- Answer customer inquiries regarding products and services.- Maintain a clean and organized work area.- Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of each shift.- Assist with stock replenishment and ensure shelves are properly stocked.- Ensure that all transactions are recorded in compliance with company procedures.- Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds according to company policy.- Report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor or manager.- Provide feedback to management on customer experiences.Requirements- Proven experience as a cashier or in a similar customer-facing role.- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash accurately.- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.- Attention to detail and organizational skills.- High school diploma or equivalent (required).- Availability to work weekends and holidays, as required.Preferred Qualifications- Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems.- Knowledge of retail operations.Why Join Us- Competitive salary and benefits.- Opportunities for growth and advancement.- A positive, inclusive work environment.How to ApplyInterested candidates can apply by visiting [this link](www.********.co.za).
