Are you a mechanical engineering professional with a passion for the automotive industry? Do you have 3-5 years of experience in service management?
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Oversee the daily operations of the Service Department, ensuring efficient workflows and adherence to high-quality standards.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of service advisors, technicians, and support staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing client needs promptly and effectively, maintaining the organisation reputation for quality.
- Performance Monitoring: Manage departmental KPIs, including sales targets, productivity, and cost control, to achieve organizational goals.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all service operations comply with safety regulations and global quality standards.
- Process Improvement: Analyse service reports and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Educational Background: Degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering or a related field, preferably a graduate.
- Professional Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a service management role within the automotive industry, preferably with premium brands.
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of automotive service processes, repairs, and maintenance, with a mechanical engineering perspective.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse data to drive performance improvements.
- Customer Focus: A commitment to delivering superior customer service and maintaining high satisfaction levels.
- Additional Requirements: Valid drivers license.
