Griekwastad: Qualified, Experienced Diesel Mechanic – Mine Experience

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced diesel mechanic with mine experience for a role in Griekwastad. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining and repairing mining equipment, as well as holding a valid Code B Driver’s License.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair mining machines, including Caterpillar, Komatsu, JCB, Bell, Hitachi, and Volvo equipment
• Perform routine inspections and diagnostics to ensure equipment is running efficiently
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical issues
• Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals

Requirements

• Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 (Matric) / N3 Diesel Mechanic / Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic Trade Certificate
• 5 years’ experience on mining machines
• Valid Code B Driver’s License
