About the Role
The Creditors Clerk function plays a vital role in ensuring timely and accurate payment of creditors, processing of invoices, and reconciliation of accounts to required standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture and process supplier invoices and credit notes
- Match supplier invoices to orders and PODs
- Reconcile supplier accounts and statements
- Prepare month-end and year-end creditors reports
- Send remittance advices and handle supplier queries
- File and maintain creditors documentation
- Complete supplier credit applications and perform ad hoc duties as required
Requirements
- Matric required
- Tertiary qualification in accounting advantageous
- Minimum 3 years experience in creditors or a similar environment
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or general ERP systems (training can be provided)
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent organizational, time management, analytical, and communication skills
