Job Summary
Key
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons based on the lodges educational program and curriculum requirements. Create a supportive and stimulating learning environment that promotes curiosity and academic excellence. Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback to students and parents/guardians as necessary. Collaborate with lodge staff and parents/guardians to ensure the well-being and academic success of each student. Participate in lodge events and activities, incorporating nature and wildlife experiences into the educational program. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and other relevant information.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Education or relevant field. Teaching certification/license. Previous experience teaching primary or secondary school students. Passion for working with children and fostering their intellectual and personal development. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and backgrounds. Knowledge of outdoor education and willingness to incorporate nature and wildlife experiences into the curriculum. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents/guardians, and lodge staff.
