About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced and hands-on Executive Housekeeper who understands that true luxury lives in the details. This role leads the housekeeping team and sets the tone for immaculate spaces, calm operations, and a guest experience that feels personal, thoughtful, and effortless.
Key Responsibilities
- Create an Exceptional Guest Experience
- Deliver beautifully maintained guest rooms and public spaces, every day
- Consistently achieve guest satisfaction scores of 90% for cleanliness
- Ensure service feels intuitive, personalised, and quietly luxurious
- Room Flow & Daily Operations
- Ensure all rooms are ready on time and to standard for arrivals
- Manage smooth room turnaround without ever compromising quality
- Work closely with Front Office and Maintenance to prioritise VIPs, arrivals, departures, and special requests
- Plan daily cleaning schedules and allocate tasks thoughtfully and efficiently
- Leading the Housekeeping Team
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a dedicated housekeeping team
- Create a positive, supportive working environment built on pride and accountability
- Deliver ongoing training, coaching, and SOP guidance
- Manage rosters to ensure the right coverage at the right time
- Conduct performance reviews and address challenges with professionalism and care
- Standards, Quality & Attention to Detail
- Conduct daily room inspections and regular checks of public areas
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and presentation
- Keep SOPs, checklists, and standards current and relevant
- Continuously refine processes to elevate quality and efficiency
- Stock, Linen & Cost Awareness
- Oversee linen, amenities, cleaning products, and equipment
- Maintain stock levels that support smooth operations while reducing waste
- Manage housekeeping costs within agreed budgets
- Oversee laundry operations and linen lifecycle management
- Maintenance & Asset Care
- Spot maintenance issues early and report them promptly
- Carry out regular condition checks of rooms, furniture, and equipment
- Ensure spaces remain beautifully maintained and guest-ready
- Protect assets through correct usage and team training
- Sustainability & Conscious Hospitality
- Implement environmentally mindful cleaning practices
- Monitor water, energy, and chemical usage
- Support and promote linen and towel reuse initiatives
- Communication & Admin
- Keep clear, accurate housekeeping records and reports
- Communicate openly with management and other departments
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports
- Assist with planning, budgeting input, and forecasting
