About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PA/Secretary to join our team at AF Consulting in Hermanus. As a key member of our administrative team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our legal practice. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including senior individuals, and contribute to the growth and development of the practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing diaries and appointments efficiently.
  • Handling administrative tasks including FICA documentation, invoices, estates, deeds, and general office correspondence.
  • Interacting with clients, many of whom are senior, with respect, patience, and professionalism.
  • Taking initiative to solve problems and ensure smooth office operations.
  • Supporting Liquidation and Distribution accounts (bonus).
  • Contributing to the growth of the practice by assisting with PA functions as needed.

Requirements

  • Strong command of the English language and excellent presentation skills.
  • Highly accurate, detail-oriented, and organised.
  • Financially literate and comfortable working with numbers.
  • Confident yet soft-spoken, able to maintain professional boundaries with clients.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and capable of thinking ahead.
  • Experience in a legal, administrative, or secretarial role is preferred.

Qualifications

No specific qualifications are required for this role. However, relevant experience in an administrative or secretarial capacity is essential.
