About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Tasting Room Manager to join our team in Hermanus, Western Cape. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for creating a premium and memorable guest experience in our tasting room, which is open Wednesday to Sunday from 09:30 to 17:30.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the tasting room during operating hours (Wednesday to Sunday, 09:30 – 17:30)
- Maintain an excellent 4.8 Google review standard
- Actively promote and grow wine club memberships
- Take initiative to improve, organise or build during quieter winter months
Requirements
- Previous hospitality experience in a restaurant, hotel or wine environment
- Polished, confident presence that represents a premium brand well
- Commercial awareness, comfortable speaking about value and closing a wine club sign-up
