Job Summary
ASSISTANT SPA MANAGER & IN-HOUSE TRAINER
HOEDSPRUIT – Limpopo (ZA)
START: ASAP / February 2025
TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS
- Monday Sunday
- 09:00 – 18:00 including lunch break
- Must be able to work weekends & all major holidays as per the hotel`s operation
- 7-8 days off per month
REPORT TO: Spa Manager
REMUNERATION & COMPANY BENEFITS:
- R18,000-00 – R20,000 per month Gross BOE
- 10% Commission earned from R1+
- Staff meal on duty
- Medical Insurance contribution (Discovery / single application status only)
- Provident Fund contribution
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- South African citizen
- Own, reliable transport preferred
- Ability to work shifts & weekends as required (early & late)
- Beautifully groomed and professionally presented – you are an advertisement for the Spa & Beauty industry
- Fit & healthy to perform several treatments a day
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 2-year Diploma in Somatology / Cosmetology / Spa Therapy / Beauty Therapy
- City & Guilds / ITEC / CIDESCO / CIBTAC / SAAHSP etc.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- At least FIVE years spa industry experience post-graduation (not student hours)
- Cruise ship employment experience highly beneficial
- ESP or similar Spa software experience
- Senior Therapist experience or assistant managerial experience / day spa manager experience
- Hotel spa / Lodge experience preferred
