Job Description

Financial Manager | Wildlife Estate | Hoedspruit Salary: R30,000 R45,000 DOE Accommodation: Live-out Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Manager to oversee all financial operations for a wildlife estate in Hoedspruit. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate accounting, compliance, and reporting, while supporting operational efficiency and strategic decision-making. Minimum Requirements: Diploma or degree in Financial Management or equivalent experience (minimum 5 years) Proficiency in MS Word and Excel; Pastel Accounting knowledge preferred Experience in HOA/estate financial management advantageous Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills Excellent human relations and communication abilities High attention to detail, reliability, and professionalism Key Responsibilities: Financial Operations & Accounting Manage all customer and supplier accounts, ensuring timely and accurate payments Process payments and requisitions as approved Perform reconciliations and maintain the fixed asset register Prepare monthly VAT201 submissions Draft and manage the annual budget in consultation with the Financial Director and Estate Manager Monitor Capex and operational budgets, updating budget-to-actual spreadsheets Provide monthly financial reporting and insights in line with Board requirements Issue clearance figures and certificates as required Electricity & General Estate Administration Manage monthly electricity invoicing and meter readings Maintain building deposit records Update estate governance documents, including MOI and rules, following AGM/SGM decisions Assist the Estate Manager with AGM documentation and other administrative arrangements Standby every third weekend to respond to queries, delegate tasks, and ensure timely follow-up This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and professional financial leader to manage and streamline the estates financial operations while supporting strategic decisions and operational excellence.
