Financial Manager | Wildlife Estate | Hoedspruit Salary: R30,000 – R45,000 DOE Accommodation: Live-out Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Manager to oversee all financial operations for a wildlife estate in Hoedspruit. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate accounting, compliance, and reporting, while supporting operational efficiency and strategic decision-making. Minimum Requirements: • Diploma or degree in Financial Management or equivalent experience (minimum 5 years) • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel; Pastel Accounting knowledge preferred • Experience in HOA/estate financial management advantageous • Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills • Excellent human relations and communication abilities • High attention to detail, reliability, and professionalism Key Responsibilities: Financial Operations & Accounting • Manage all customer and supplier accounts, ensuring timely and accurate payments • Process payments and requisitions as approved • Perform reconciliations and maintain the fixed asset register • Prepare monthly VAT201 submissions • Draft and manage the annual budget in consultation with the Financial Director and Estate Manager • Monitor Capex and operational budgets, updating budget-to-actual spreadsheets • Provide monthly financial reporting and insights in line with Board requirements • Issue clearance figures and certificates as required Electricity & General Estate Administration • Manage monthly electricity invoicing and meter readings • Maintain building deposit records • Update estate governance documents, including MOI and rules, following AGM/SGM decisions • Assist the Estate Manager with AGM documentation and other administrative arrangements • Standby every third weekend to respond to queries, delegate tasks, and ensure timely follow-up This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and professional financial leader to manage and streamline the estate’s financial operations while supporting strategic decisions and operational excellence.
