Job Summary
The Relief General Manager will be responsible for assisting in the overseeing of all departments and the operations of three lodges on a Private Game Reserve. Ensure exceptional guest service by upholding and enhancing the lodges standards of hospitality. Supervise and motive staff cultivating a positive and productive working environment. Assist in the financial planning, marketing and guest relations of the lodge. Candidate
Requirements:
Relevant Degree/Diploma in Hospitality, Tourism or similar field 5 years experience in a Lodge Management position essential Proven track record in operations, team leadership and guest relations needed Great communication and interpersonal skills Have excellent administration and organizational skills Be able to train and motivate staff and work well within a team environment Must be fully computer literate and have knowledge of booking systems Understand and manage budgets and finances Marketing and Social Media knowledge highly beneficial Have sufficient experience in stock takes and quality control Have a great work ethic and excellent attention to detail Be a driven, proactive and ambitious individual Knowledge of wildlife and conservation principles advantageous A well presented, professional and courteous individual Have a passion for guest satisfaction Valid RSA drivers license and own transport beneficial This is a live in position Accommodation, meals on duty and uniform provided
