About the Role

A luxury lodge in the Hoedspruit region is seeking an experienced Senior Butler to join their team. This live-in position is suited to a polished hospitality professional who thrives in a high-end, guest-focused environment and can confidently take on senior responsibilities within the service department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure smooth daily service operations
  • Maintain high standards of guest experience and hospitality
  • Oversee service areas and ensure they are well organised and presentable
  • Support and guide junior team members
  • Assist management with operational tasks as required
  • Uphold the lodge’s service standards and policies

Requirements

Proven experience in a Senior Butler role within a 5-star luxury lodge or similar high-end establishment. Strong knowledge of stock control, stock takes, and ordering processes. Experience managing and supervising junior staff. Well spoken with excellent communication skills. Highly organised with strong attention to detail. Able to work efficiently under pressure.

Salary & Benefits

R10 000 – R11 000 (depending on experience)
