About the Role
The Study Manager position at Marvel Placement Consultant requires a highly experienced professional to lead and manage mining project studies, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and cost control. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and extensive experience in the mining industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage mining project studies (Concept, Pre-Feasibility, Feasibility and Bankable Feasibility Studies)
- Develop study execution plans, budgets, schedules, and resource plans
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary engineering teams to ensure integrated study outputs
- Ensure studies are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mining, Mechanical, Civil or related discipline)
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in the mining industry
- Proven experience in both underground and surface mining projects
- Demonstrated experience managing Concept, Pre-Feasibility and Feasibility studies
- Strong knowledge of EPCM project environments
- Proficiency in project planning and cost control methodologies
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
