<p>Job Requirements:</p><p><strong>Must-haves</strong></p><p><strong>Nice-to-haves</strong></p><p> Experience in marketing, preferably in the beauty or luxury goods industry.</p><p> Proven ability to achieve sales targets.</p><p> Experience in stock management.</p><p> Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.</p><p> Strong organizational and time-management skills.</p><p> Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p><strong>Sales</strong></p><p> Collaborate with the GM and Brand Managers to formulate activities to undertake that are aligned to Ella Afriques sales strategies.</p><p> Monitor sales performance and provide guidance to Retail Coordinators.</p><p> Analyse sales reports and market trends.</p><p> Consult and advise on following up on orders with key retail partners.</p><p> Provide recommendations to improve sales operations.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Client Relationships</strong></p><p> Build and maintain relationships.</p><p> Support the development of contracts with retailers.</p><p> Address escalated customer complaints.</p><p> Ensure that Retail Coordinators are equipped to handle customer queries and issues effectively.</p><p> Oversee activities to ensure the brand's presence and visibility.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Business Development:</strong></p><p> Identify business opportunities with new retailers.</p><p> Assist the GM and Brand Managers to develop and execute business development plans.</p><p> Advise and consult during brand meetings.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Point of Sale Tasks</strong></p><p> Responsible for preparing and executing new door opening decks.</p><p> Oversee POS excellence, ensuring merchandising, product positioning, and stock availability.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Retail Execution:</strong></p><p> Assist in the implementation of sales initiatives and promotional campaigns in retail stores.</p><p> Assist in implementing consistent brand presentation.</p><p><strong>Review Meetings and Trainings</strong></p><p> Assist in planning and arranging the internal monthly review meetings.</p><p> Take minutes during meetings and prepare meeting reports for the Commercial Manager.</p><p> Attend relevant Brand meetings and trainings, providing feedback on potential action and implementation items.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Reporting</strong></p><p> Closely collaborate with the GM Angola and prepare reports.</p><p> Provide insights and recommendations to the GM based on data analysis and market observations.</p><p> Prepare cash-on-hand, pricing and competitor analysis reports.</p><p> Provide live feedback on all animations and events in-country, making sure the correct photographs and videos are taken to document the activities.</p><p> Regularly update the GM and respective Brand Managers on sales performance, market trends and business development activities.</p><p> Prepare and manage cash-on-hand reports.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Team Leadership & Development</strong></p><p> Mentor and develop the Retail Coordinators providing training and support as needed.</p><p> Collaborate with the GM to set clear objectives and KPIs for the team and monitor their performance.</p><p> Foster a positive and productive team environment.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Administrative Tasks</strong></p><p> Responsible for accurate minute-taking during brand and internal meetings.</p><p> Provide support to internal and brand review meetings.</p><p> Prepare detailed reports on market performance, stock levels, sales targets, and overall business health.</p><p> Responsible for arranging local travel and itinerary bookings.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Stock and Order Management</strong></p><p> Gather information as agreed on Ella Afriques stock/inventory levels for your area.</p><p> Follow up regularly on all orders, confirming with retailers when stock has arrived and if there are discrepancies.</p><p> </p><p>The Area Manager will play a critical role in driving growth, ensuring optimal stock levels, and executing retail expansion strategies across two key markets.</p><p>Technical Requirements:</p><p><strong>Skills:</strong></p><p> Strong organizational and time-management skills.</p><p> Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</p><p> Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.</p><p> Analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.</p><p><strong>Key Competencies:</strong></p><p> Knowledge of sales strategies, marketing campaigns and promotional activities tailored to the beauty industry.</p><p> Proficiency in analysing sales data, understanding market trends.</p><p> Ability to manage stocks.</p><p> Familiarity with Accounting, CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), POS and retail management software.</p><p> Strong understanding of Private Financing Initiatives.</p><p> Strong understanding of key account management, stock management, and sales data analysis.</p>
