About the Role
E-Merge, an international custom software solutions company, seeks a highly skilled AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy scalable AI and Machine Learning solutions. You will work at the intersection of Data Engineering, DevOps, and Machine Learning, leveraging Generative AI and traditional ML frameworks to solve complex business problems while ensuring solutions are reliable, efficient, and secure.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end AI/ML pipelines (data ingestion model deployment monitoring)
- Build and optimise Generative AI applications using RAG architectures and LLM frameworks
- Develop and maintain scalable data processing workflows with big data tools
- Apply MLOps best practices for model lifecycle management, versioning, and automated deployment
- Collaborate with data scientists and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Ensure data quality, governance, and security across AI and data platforms
Requirements
- Programming: Expert-level Python (OOP, design patterns, async programming)
- AI & LLM Frameworks: LangChain, Langflow, AutoGen; building agents & orchestrating LLM workflows
- Generative AI: RAG, Vector Search (Pinecone, Chroma, Milvus), prompt engineering
- ML Engineering & MLOps: MLflow, Feature Stores, Model Serving (TFServing, TorchServe, KServe)
- Big Data: PySpark, Spark SQL, Delta Lake; Medallion Architecture & ETL/ELT modelling
- Data Governance & Quality: Unity Catalog, Great Expectations / Deequ
- Streaming & Orchestration: Apache Kafka, Spark Structured Streaming, Databricks Workflows, Apache Airflow
- BI & Visualization: Power BI, Tableau, Databricks SQL Dashboards
