About the Role

The Regional Executive: Commerce will be responsible for leading and developing key commercial functions, driving operational excellence, and ensuring strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commercial management, financial expertise, and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop Supply Chain and Commercial teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and performance
  • Provide commercial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making and problem-solving
  • Ensure strong internal controls and oversee risk assessments across the division
  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks
  • Drive operational excellence initiatives across the business
  • Collaborate on budgeting processes and financial forecasting
  • Oversee the development and execution of supply chain strategies
  • Manage procurement processes in line with policies and budget requirements
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and cost efficiency
  • Oversee logistics operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery to customers
  • Monitor inventory levels to meet demand while minimising excess stock
  • Analyse supply chain performance data and implement improvements

Requirements

  • Chartered Accountant qualification
  • 35 years experience in commercial, financial management, or executive roles
  • 23 years experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in an organisation managing its own fleet of trucks
  • Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and financial targets
