About the Role
A growing industrial services company is seeking a hands-on Assistant Technician to join their on-site team. This permanent role provides technical support in maintaining, repairing, and testing industrial machinery and material handling equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled technicians with troubleshooting, repair, and routine maintenance of equipment.
- Document service activities and maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards at all times.
- Support installation and testing of machinery as required.
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
Requirements & Skills
Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge, with hands-on experience preferred. Ability to read mechanical drawings and understand electrical circuits. Strong organizational and documentation skills. Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities. Physical fitness and ability to work safely in industrial environments.
Qualifications
Technical certifications or diplomas in a relevant field are a plus.
