About the Role
Join our team of innovators as a Battery Materials Research Engineer in Johannesburg. We’re seeking an entry-level researcher with a passion for lab work, data analysis, and turning science into insight to contribute to the development of cutting-edge battery technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and run laboratory experiments and material characterization
- Analyse experimental data using statistical tools, AI techniques, or Power BI
- Support electrochemical testing and interpret performance results
- Prepare technical reports and research documentation
- Collaborate with R&D, data, and manufacturing teams
Requirements
- MSc or PhD in Chemistry, Materials Science, Electrochemistry, or similar
- 1 year research or industry experience
- Strong understanding of battery chemistry

- Solid lab safety knowledge and research discipline
