About the Role

Phoenix Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated Brand Manager to champion and drive the success of our professional cooking equipment brand based in Johannesburg. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing strategies to grow and maximize profits while ensuring customer satisfaction. You will work closely with sales and account management teams to promote the brand, understand market trends, and identify opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell the brand
  • Understand the market and customers
  • Achieve sales targets and increase market share
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and cooking demonstrations
  • Establish and maintain relationships with dealers and end users
  • Communicate the brand identity and corporate position to target markets
  • Monitor competitor products and services
  • Develop new accounts and expand the database of customers
  • Manage sales, margins, inventory levels, and purchasing
  • Identify opportunities for growth across market segments
  • Develop reports on product profitability and track performance

Requirements

  • Grade 12 or relevant professional cookery / tertiary qualification
  • At least 3 – 5 years proven work experience in hospitality or catering
  • Direct work experience in a similar capacity in the same or similar industries
  • Strategic leadership experience
  • Experience in building and nurturing brands
  • Driver’s license
  • Excellent understanding of market and customer
