About the Role
Our client in the Construction industry is looking for a General Concrete Foreman for Water retaining structures in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing quality of construction on site, dealing with subcontractors, and ensuring projects are completed on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Client liaison.
- Problem solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage quality of Construction on site.
- Ability to deal with Subcontractors.
- Extensive Technical Knowledge of Civil construction and concrete works, especially water retaining structures.
- Ability to interpret Technical Drawings of (Construction/Buildings).
- Ability to complete projects in time.
Requirements
- Good command of the English language.
- Preferably Formal Building/Construction Qualification.
- Experience in health and safety on sites.
- 15 years extensive concrete experience in water retaining structures i.e. reservoirs, water treatment works, waste water treatment works.
Salary & Benefits
R40 000 to R50 000 per annum.
