About the Role
As a Business Development Representative at Dynamic Outsources Solutions, you will play a crucial role in penetrating the market for heavy vehicle products, maintaining excellent relationships with key stakeholders, and driving product adoption across South Africa and Africa.
Key Responsibilities
- Call on fleet operators to ensure products are specified on new vehicles
- Update fleets on latest technology and provide necessary literature
- Call on trailer and body builders to update them on products, build relationships, and provide literature
- Identify new fleet customers and ensure product adoption
- Liaise with Quality/Warranty to ensure proper procedures are followed
- Assist fleets with maintenance procedures and provide ongoing training
- Perform Customer Journey Management: activities, reporting, tasks, feedback, and processing
- Conduct monthly area visits, cold calling, prospecting, forward planning, and regular reporting
- Assist with aftermarket (AM) sales and call on relevant distributors
- Take responsibility for consignment stock
- Develop a business plan for South African and African markets
- Define product strategy and roadmap
- Maintain AM/PE price lists and monitor competitor activity
- Work with sales/marketing teams to gather customer feedback and keep products competitive
- Service the existing customer base while finding new customers
- Explore new markets and opportunities to expand the product range
Requirements
Commercial Vehicle experience, Truck and Trailer parts, and aftermarket parts.
