About the Role
Telebest is seeking a skilled Buyer to join our team in Johannesburg. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless purchasing processes and maintaining compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate sea, air and inland shipping and coordinate deliveries that includes sea, air & inland shipping.
- Ensure that all relevant Shipping Documents are received from Suppliers.
- Manage the R2P process by monitoring the ageing of the opening orderbook.
- Ensure correct Procurement strategy to be followed,
- Meet B-BBEE and Local Supplier targets and understand the criteria for B-BBEE.
- Ensure newly sourced suppliers meet B-BBEE compliance.
- Compliance to the Medius and company Supplier Portal.
- Expediting of delivery of purchase orders.
Requirements
- Matric
- Diploma in Purchasing Management. A Bachelor’s degree would be preferred.
- 6+ years in a Technical Buying environment.
- Drivers license is essential.
