About the Role
The Credit Manager/Officer role at Aleon Pty Ltd involves overseeing commercial credit proposals, assessing customer credit worthiness, and ensuring loan agreements are complete and accurate. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a balance between returns and risks exposure while staying up-to-date with new financial services and products.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and approve commercial credit proposals
- Conduct credit assessments and evaluate customer credit worthiness
- Meet with applicants to gather information for loan applications and answer process-related questions
- Obtain and compile copies of loan applicants’ credit histories, corporate financial statements, and other financial information
- File Verification in accordance with established credit guidelines, processes, and approval procedures
- Review loan agreements to ensure they are complete and accurate according to policy
- Stay current with new types of loans and financial services to better meet customers’ needs
- Handle customer complaints and take appropriate action to resolve them
- Market AFCL services to individuals and firms, promoting products that may meet customers’ needs
- Update and submit monthly data to credit bureau as per banking regulations
- Prepare daily reports
- Generate regular monthly reporting for management review
Requirements
- Credit management experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of retail finance
