About the Role

The Credit Manager/Officer role at Aleon Pty Ltd involves reviewing and approving commercial credit proposals, assessing customer credit worthiness, and ensuring compliance with established credit guidelines. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer relationships, marketing financial products, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for the review and approval of commercial credit proposals
Credit assessment and credit worthiness of the customer
Meet with applicants to obtain information for loan applications and answer questions about the process
Obtain and compile copies of loan applicants’ credit histories, corporate financial statements, and other financial information
File Verification in terms of established credit guidelines, process, and approval, maintaining a good balance between returns and risks exposure
Review loan agreements to ensure they are complete and accurate according to policy
Stay abreast of new types of loans and other financial services and products to better meet customers’ needs
Handle customer complaints and take appropriate action to resolve them
Market financial products to individuals and firms, promoting AFCL services that may meet customers’ needs
Updating and submitting monthly data to credit bureau as per banking regulations
Updating and preparing daily reports
Ensure all regular monthly reporting is generated for management review

Requirements

Credit management exposure
Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
Understanding of retail finance
