Job Description Your job responsibilities will be the following: Build relationships with key customers and suppliers to support the achievement of the strategic goals and targets. Provide leadership to the business unit team (direction, growth, and development) at the same time developing a pipeline of talent through coaching, training, and performance management feedback. Coordinate and ensure correct implementation of sales, marketing, pricing, and inventory models (includes inflation, forex variances, competitor activity etc). Supplier development and maintaining relationships, setting rebate structures, tracking performance. Oversee the implementation of the human resources policies, procedures and practices including the development of job descriptions for all staff. Establish a positive, healthy, and safe work environment in accordance with all appropriate legislation and regulations. Coach and mentor staff as appropriate to improve performance. Work with staff members and management to prepare a comprehensive budget. Identify and evaluate the risks to the organisations people (customers, staff, management), property, finances, image and implement measures to control risks Qualifications Matric / Grade 12 Related technical qualification (National Diploma Mech Eng, BTech Mech Eng. or BSc Mech Eng.) Executive Development Course/ MBA an advantage. Skills 5-10 years sales in the drives/gearbox industry along with 5 years management experience of a diverse team (operations and sales) Workshop exposure will be an added advantage
