About the Role
Our client, a leader in the gaming industry, is seeking an experienced Data Quality Analyst to join their team based in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in promoting and enforcing effective data management practices across the Group, ensuring consistent and high-quality data management.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and enforce effective data and information management practices across the Group.
- Support the Data Governance Manager in developing, implementing, and maintaining the Groups Data Governance Program.
- Contribute to the design, enhancement, and enforcement of data policies, procedures, and standards.
- Perform data profiling, validation, and quality assessments to identify inconsistencies, gaps, and inaccuracies across systems and datasets.
- Monitor, report, and track data quality metrics to ensure ongoing adherence to governance standards.
- Support root-cause analysis and issue resolution, collaborating with IT and business teams.
- Stay up to date with technological advancements and industry best practices in data quality and data management.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to support education, awareness, and adoption of data governance principles.
- Work independently or within a team environment to deliver high-quality, accurate, and consistent results.
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Bachelor’s Degree or similar relevant qualifications
- Verbal and written English Skills
- Numeracy skills (NQF 4)
- Computer literacy (NQF 4)
