Job Summary

Key
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain data warehouse components on Teradata warehouse, adhering to the principles of third normal form (3NF).
- Design and implement efficient data models on Teradata to support reporting and analytics requirements.
- Utilize PowerBI to create interactive dashboards and visualizations that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with business users and data analysts to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all data governance policies and procedures, including documenting data definitions, business glossaries, and obtaining approval for data models.
- Work with various data sources, including MSSQL, Hive, and data APIs, to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data into the data warehouse.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in data warehousing, business intelligence, and data governance.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to users as needed.
- Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of data warehouse queries and processes.
- Bonus: Experience with Ab Initio will be highly valued and may involve additional responsibilities related to ETL development.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor`s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Solid experience working with Teradata, PowerBI, MSSQL, Hive, and data APIs.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing data warehouse solutions.
- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and techniques, preferably with experience in 3NF.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with data governance principles and practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving mindset and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
