About the Role
Our client, a technology-driven company leading in the electronics development industry, is seeking an Electronic Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting electronic instrumentation and control systems used in industrial and mining environments. They will work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure high safety, quality, and reliability standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electronic circuits and PCBs for instrumentation and control products
- Work on embedded systems and firmware for electronic devices
- Build and test prototypes and conduct functional and safety testing
- Fault-finding and troubleshooting on electronic products and systems
- Modify and improve existing designs based on testing results and field feedback
- Assist production with technical support and manufacturing optimisation
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, bills of materials (BOMs), test reports, and user documentation
Requirements
- B.ENG degree (required)
- Ability to work under pressure
- Attention to detail
- Technical writing skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Leadership ability to provide training when requested
Qualifications
- B.ENG degree from a recognized institution
- Altium Designer software (preferred) and/or KiCad/Proteus Simulation software
- Experience with electronic testing equipment
