Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of ESG strategies and policies.
- Conduct ESG research and analysis to identify risks and opportunities.
- Monitor and evaluate ESG performance of portfolio companies.
- Prepare ESG reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with investment teams to integrate ESG factors into investment decision-making processes.
- Stay up-to-date on ESG trends and best practices.
- Participate in ESG initiatives and engage with industry associations and organizations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Sustainability, Investment or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in ESG analysis or related field.
- Experience in ESIAs, OHS, and IFC PS.
- Ideally, with experience in Africa.
- Strong knowledge of ESG principles and sustainable investing.
- Excellent analytical and research skills.
- Proficiency in ESG data and research platforms.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for sustainability and commitment to making a positive impact.
Johannesburg, Gauteng
Annual Salary: R500K-R400K.yr. (Negotiable, Dependent on Experience and Education)
