Job Summary
Required Competencies Education and Experience: RE5 Certification is a MUST Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial insurance in the agriculture industry At least 2 years of experience managing an agriculture account executive portfolio General knowledge of the agriculture industry Skills and Attributes: Negotiation Skills: Adept at negotiating favourable terms and closing deals effectively. Reliability and Honesty: Dependable and trustworthy, consistently delivering on promises. Attention to Detail: Meticulous and thorough in all tasks, ensuring high-quality results. Time Management: Efficiently manages time to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Strong Sales Techniques: Proficient in persuasive selling methods to achieve targets. Decision-Making: Capable of making informed and effective decisions promptly. Analytical Skills: Excellent at analysing data and situations to derive actionable insights. Business Acumen: Understands business operations and market dynamics to drive success. Accuracy (Very Important): Ensures precision in all work, reducing errors and enhancing quality. Interpersonal Skills: Builds and maintains positive relationships with clients and colleagues. Ethical: Upholds high ethical standards in all professional interactions and decisions. Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills: Articulate in both spoken and written forms, ensuring clear and effective communication. Client Service Orientated: Dedicated to providing exceptional service and support to clients. Trust and Integrity: Demonstrates trustworthiness and integrity in all professional dealings. Fit and Proper: This verification is crucial to ensure our candidates comply with the rigorous standards of the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services (FAIS) Act, which requires individuals in financial roles to be considered `fit and proper.` By performing this check, we strive to maintain trust, reduce risk, protect client interests, and uphold the reputations of our clients` organizations. Performance Standards and Indicators: Adequately Insured Clients: Constructive and cooperative working relationships with others. Negotiate policy terms, costs, and covers with insurance providers based on information and portfolio results. Ensure compliance with legislative requirements. Provide correct documentation to clients. Execute tasks optimally for timely delivery. Complete questionnaires, surveys, and reports. Address audit findings constructively. Growth in Accordance with Shareholder
Requirements:
Identify and successfully add new business sales opportunities. Consistently meet or exceed sales targets. Submit regular reports on performance and progress.
