Foreman/General Foreman Bridge Projects Job Summary – Responsible for supervising and coordinating daily site activities to ensure bridge construction works are executed safely, efficiently, and according to drawings and specifications. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily construction activities on site (piling, substructure, superstructure, concreting, formwork, rebar, etc.). Allocate tasks to workers and subcontractors and monitor productivity. Ensure works are executed according to approved drawings, method statements, and quality standards. Enforce site safety rules and toolbox talks. Coordinate plant, materials, and manpower requirements with the site engineer/project manager. Inspect completed work and report issues or delays. Maintain daily site records and progress reports. Identify site constraints and propose practical solutions. Support inspections by consultants and client representatives. Requirements Diploma or trade qualification in civil construction (preferred). 5 years experience in bridge or heavy civil works. Strong knowledge of construction sequences and site safety practices. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings. Good leadership and communication skills. Salary: 5000 – 6000USD pm plus 500USD pm for daily expenses, accomodation, car and driver, life insurance and medical aid. 2 flights per annum home for 2 weeks break at a time.
