About the Role
Join our team as an Export Commercial Coordinator in Johannesburg, where you will be responsible for managing all aspects of export shipments from port to bond and export market. You will work closely with movement companies to ensure timely deliveries and compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage movement from port to bonded warehouse and out of the bonded warehouse
- Resolve logistical issues and address any delays or disruptions in transportation or delivery
- Arrange movement to bonded warehouse and out of the bonded warehouse
- Reconcile, process, and filing of PODs
- Liaise with movement companies on daily basis to ensure that deliveries are met on time and at the correct destination
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies and procedures
- Prepare and present reports on logistical operations
- Accurately provide feedback to export sales team regarding truck deliveries
- Manage accidents and incidents
- Enable all movements of exports deals
- Manage fuel usage, ensuring correct fuel litres are allocated according to the route
- Maintain proper records of movement report
Requirements
- Diploma or relevant qualification in Logistics
- Minimum 2-5 years experience in similar role
- Experience within the automotive industry or logistics companies
- Good understanding of incoterms and export requirements per country
- Code 10 license
