About the Role

A leading chemical company situated in Gauteng is urgently seeking an experienced Factory Manager to join their team. The successful incumbent for this position will be responsible for managing and supervising a busy specialty chemical factory, ordering of raw materials, arranging daily production schedules (production planning), health & safety, labour relations (staff management, discipline – warnings, hearings, etc assisted by HR), compliance with SABS, NRCS, ISO, etc., product failure and customer complaints.

Key Responsibilities

  • Management and supervision of a busy specialty chemical factory.
  • Ordering of raw materials.
  • Arranging daily production schedules (production planning).
  • Health & Safety.
  • Labour Relations (staff management, discipline – warnings, hearings, etc assisted by HR).
  • Product failure and customer complaints.

Requirements

  • 4 years relevant experience
  • Computer skills: MS Suite, SAGE ERP
  • Bachelor’s/Diploma in Chemistry
