Job Summary:
Hire Resolve’s Client are seeking a skilled and experienced Fitter Foreman to join our mining team in Gauteng. The Fitter Foreman will be responsible for overseeing a team of fitters and ensuring that all maintenance and repair work is completed efficiently and to a high standard. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mining maintenance and repair work, as well as proven leadership skills.

Responsibilities:
– Supervise a team of fitters and allocate tasks as necessary
– Ensure that maintenance and repair work is completed on time and to a high standard
– Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify any maintenance issues
– Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures
– Train and mentor junior fitters
– Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
– Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work

Requirements:
– Trade qualification as a Fitter
– Grade 12 /N3 Certificate
– Minimum of 5 years’ experience in maintenance and repair work in a plant mining environment
– Proven leadership and team management skills
– Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
– Excellent communication skills
– Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
