About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Fund Accountant to join our team and oversee financial transactions related to trust fund accounts within the financial services industry. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as experience working with trust fund accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of trust fund account reconciliation, including analyzing discrepancies and ensuring accuracy of financial records
- Prepare financial reports and statements for trust fund accounts in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Monitor investment performance and track fund activity to ensure clients’ objectives are met
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide relevant financial information and support decision-making processes
- Handle day-to-day accounting tasks, including processing transactions, cash management, and monitoring fund balances
- Assist with fund audits and regulatory compliance efforts as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA certification preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in fund accounting, preferably within the financial services industry
