About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Mid Level Graphic Designer to join our team in Bryanston, Johannesburg. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for promoting our Partner’s vision through high-quality graphic content and driving business goals through innovative visual solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote the Partner’s vision through high-quality graphic content
- Continuously seek out new knowledge of visual content creation and trends
- Share best practice with team and Partner
- Seek out innovative ways to translate business goals in a visually appealing way
- Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and marketing channels
- Create and design materials for print and digital collateral
- Plan customer-centric concepts by studying information and materials
- Think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts, and develop interactive designs
- Ensure brand consistency throughout design projects
- Manage workflow and approvals process to ensure deadlines are met
- Ensure quality control is in place before content is sent to Partner
- Support, team or Partners with communication about progress of projects and any issues
- Work on multiple briefs simultaneously as part of a team with copywriters, account executives, and marketing specialists
Requirements
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Graphic Design, Digital Design, Visual Communication, or a related field (minimum NQF 6 equivalent)
- Minimum of 5 years design experience in an in-house creative environment or at a design agency
