About the Role
The HR Practitioner role at Advius (Pty) Ltd is responsible for managing all human resources functions, ensuring compliance with labour laws and fostering a positive workplace culture. This role involves developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and statutory requirements, as well as overseeing payroll and organisational design systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures in line with legislative requirements.
- Ensure compliance with BCEA, LRA, POPIA, and other relevant legislation.
- Manage statutory reporting and submissions (SETA, B-BBEE, Employment Equity, Statistics SA, DoL).
- Align HR practices with Quality Management Systems.
- Drive recruitment and ensure vacancies are filled within reasonable timeframes.
- Oversee onboarding and induction processes.
- Ensure PDPs (Personal Development Plans) are in place for all employees.
- Implement and manage performance management systems.
- Manage payroll processes and ensure accurate, timely submissions for approval.
- Maintain accurate employee data on HR systems.
- Ensure organograms are updated monthly.
- Advise on company benefits and administer them according to policy.
- Advise management on disciplinary processes and conduct investigations.
- Represent the company at CCMA or Labour Court to ensure fair dispute resolution.
- Maintain employee files and ensure all documentation is signed and filed.
- Promote consistent application of discipline and company values.
- Ensure measures are in place for employee health, safety, and wellness.
- Provide counselling support where required.
- Foster a positive workplace culture aligned with company values.
- Ensure employees understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Monitor attendance and enforce biometric clocking compliance.
Requirements
- Degree or National Diploma in Human Resource Management
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years HR experience in a Senior Role
