About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Human Capital Administrator to join our team at SAICA. As part of our exciting transformation into an insights-driven organisation, we need a professional who is eager to innovate, embrace data-driven decision-making, and help shape the future of the profession. This 5-month contract role will provide you with the opportunity to grow and contribute to SAICA’s vision in a redefined, future-fit role.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Administrative support to the Human Capital department team members
- Act as first point of contact for HC-related queries from employees and external stakeholders
- Handle various administrative tasks and maintain accurate employee records, including HC system administration
- Manage the employee onboarding and offboarding processes and reporting
- Create and maintain employee files on various systems
- Assist with the employee engagement and employee termination process
- Act as custodian of the HC information system
- Upload and terminate employees on the HC information system
- Maintain and update employee records on the system
- Deal directly with service providers on all system-related issues and ensure they are resolved timeously
- Draft HC communication to staff as and when required
- Maintain the Organogram Schedule and keep record of Stakeholder Meetings (wellness, business engagement meetings)
- Monitor budget spend for allocated areas
- Adhere to finance policies and procedures
- Engage with external stakeholders regarding financial/account queries
- Create purchase requisitions and purchase orders
- Reconcile invoices and fill out payments requests using proper coding
- Follow up and ensure that suppliers are being paid on time and no interest incurred
- Provide financial reports
- Be the point of contact with regards to both internal and external audits
- Source and supply required documentation needed by auditors
- Quality check all sourced documents requested to ensure they are in line with policy and process, if not, inform the relevant HC business owner
- Coordinate Employee Wellness programme interventions (virtual and in-person)
- Manage the administration of wellness digital platforms, ensuring accurate reporting
- Monitor the implementation of the Wellness Plan
- Coordinate wellness day events
- Monitor Wellness Calendar
- Compile Performance system reports
- Compile recruitment system reports
- Compile business partner reports for the divisions
- Compile reports for HC reporting (SETCO, REMCO, CEO report etc)
- Actively contribute to cost containment efforts by identifying opportunities for operational efficiencies, optimising resources, and ensuring value-driven decision-making in daily activities
- Support SAICA’s transformation into an insights-driven organisation by leveraging data and analytics to enhance decision-making, improve processes, and drive continuous improvement in your area of work
Requirements
- Diploma in Human Resources or related field
- Degree in Industrial Psychology (qualification desirable)
- At least 2 years HC Administration experience
- At least a year providing support to business on Human Capital systems (performance, recruitment, etc)
