Job Summary
Responsibilities:
Procurement & Supplier Management: Source, negotiate, and manage supplier contracts to meet company needs. Handle tenders, supplier documentation, and manage supplier relationships. Address supplier and client queries promptly and effectively. Exports & Imports Management: Oversee and manage export and import processes to ensure smooth operations. Maintain compliance with SARS regulations and ensure adherence to SADC region requirements. Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and satisfaction. Act as a key point of contact for supplier and client communications. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure adherence to SLAs, SOPs, and other regulatory standards. Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and compliance purposes. Reporting & Analysis: Prepare procurement reports and analyze data for insights and improvements. Utilize ERP systems to manage procurement activities efficiently. Minimum Qualifications & Experience: National Diploma in Procurement, Logistics, or a related field (CIPS certification is an added benefit). 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within the mining, manufacturing, or construction industries. Extensive exposure to exports and imports (non-negotiable). Experience with tenders, supplier management, and compliance. Familiarity with ERP systems and advanced reporting skills.
