Job Summary

JOB PURPOSE SUMMARY: The Information Office Executive guides and manages the overall provision of Information Technology (IT) services, policies, and programs for the entire company. The successful candidate will provide general oversight of the IT infrastructure, provisioning, planning, integration, installation and operation. She/he will be responsible for researching and planning for implementation of the relevant technologies. The tasks include managing the system hardware, operating systems,software, and procedures that adhere to the companys values and goals. The Information Office Executive will also oversee the company””s Information Office staff and work closely with the Executive and Senior management about the business of IT and report progress on various projects. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Bachelors degree in information systems or equivalent MBA or equivalent post graduate qualification will be advantageous Minimum 5 years of relevant technical experience and Information Office management experience at Senior Management level. Sound people management and team leadership. Drivers Licence Code 08 Project management experience KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Provide overall Information Office governance for the company Plan, implement and monitor changes in the infrastructure configurations Develop and maintain system standards Perform system monitoring for security purposes Work with the Information Office Department to enhance current technologies toimprove services Communicate regularly with executive management on information technology Manage Information Office employees, which includes recruitment, training and development, performance management, guidance, rewards and discipline Develop best practices and written documentations for Information Office Oversee the provisioning of the end-user services Manage the budget and financial aspect of Information Office 1 Manage hardware and software vendor relationships Manage Information Office projects Supports management by providing Information Office advice, guidance and decisions Complies with Information Office legal requirements and advice management on needed actions Develop security standards, procedures, and guidelines for multiple Information Office platforms SKILLS REQUIRED: Strong leadership skills Information Office management skills Ability to create an efficient and conducive work environment Good communication and presentation skills Information Office creative skills Project management skills People management skills Financial management skills JOB COMPETENCIES: Understanding existing and emerging technologies Understanding business practices, approaches, and culture Managing projects through planning, prioritizing, and administering work Thinking strategically and operationally Being adaptable People Management Financial/Budget Management Professionalism and ethics Governance, risk and control Stakeholder relationship management Innovation Management reporting
