Job Summary
Hire Resolve`s esteemed client, a prominent player in the mining industry, is seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level accounting professional to gain experience in the mining sector and contribute to the financial operations of a well-established company.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Conduct regular reconciliations of balance sheets and bank accounts
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Support senior accountants in financial analysis and decision-making processes
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and internal policies
- Assist with ad-hoc accounting projects as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor`s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 4-6 years of accounting experience, preferably in the mining industry
- Familiarity with mining-specific accounting principles and regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Adaptability and willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
