Job Description

Key Duties: Assist with billing and general office administration Maintain and update office files (printing and filing documents) Manage attorneys’ diaries, court dates, and consultations Follow up with Sheriffs and correspondent attorneys Handle debt collection matters for commercial clients, including municipalities Issue letters of demand and Section 129 notices Draft and issue summonses, default judgments, and warrants/writs of execution Follow up on payment of legal fees from clients Requirements: Previous experience as a legal secretary or in legal administration preferred Strong organizational and time management skills Good communication skills Knowledge of debt collection procedures is an advantage
