Lodge Manager – Luxury Property Group – Namibia N$ 25,000 – N$ 30,000 DOE | Live In Kendrick Recruitment is currently recruiting for a luxury property group based in Namibia. Our client is seeking an experienced Lodge Manager to oversee operations, lead staff, and ensure exceptional guest experiences. Key Responsibilities • Lead and supervise staff across all lodge departments to ensure operational efficiency • Oversee overall lodge operations and delegate tasks effectively to the management team • Assist with administrative duties and prepare month-end reports • Ensure the lodge operates within budget and manage financial performance • Operate POS systems to manage charges, corrections, and transactions • Maintain high service standards and ensure guest satisfaction • Organise and supervise the team to perform efficiently and to lodge standards Requirements • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in lodge management • Passion for the environment and hospitality • Ability to mentor, train, and motivate team members at all levels • Strong organisational, logistical planning, and time management skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Business-oriented with problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities • Ability to analyse and control costs, losses, and budgets • Resilient under stress and pressure Qualifications • Grade 12 required • Qualification in Hospitality, Tourism, Business Management, or a relevant field advantageous • Additional languages other than English beneficial • Valid driver’s licence • Knowledge of the Innkeeper system advantageous Package Details • Salary: N$ 25,000 – N$ 30,000 DOE • Medical aid: 50/50 company contribution including beneficiaries • Pension: 14% company contribution, 2% employee contribution • Death and disability benefits: death benefit of 3 times annual salary; disability benefit of 75% of monthly salary • Funeral benefits for member, spouse, and children • 24 annual leave days, 36 sick leave days (3-year cycle), 5 days compassionate leave • Staff accommodation on property and 3 meals per day while on duty • Work cycle: 24 days on property & 7 days off (with approval of Collection Manager)
