Responsible for the maintenance of ISO and Occupational Health and Safety Policy within the Workshop and tooling area. Keep the Workshop and Tooling Warehouse well maintained, sanitizing various areas, performing basic maintenance on machinery, equipment and escalate repairs. Maintenance of ISO and Occupational Health and Safety Policy within the workshop and tooling area. Weekly lubrication of all machines. Bi-weekly lubrication of extruder and (all machines in plant). Break Down repairs on all machines after escalation and service call creation and Machine Maintenance. Perform general maintenance and repairs of the building (Incl, painting, plumbing, carpentry, etc. Perform routine maintenance of machinery and production equipmen.t When tooling Supervisor is not present, assist in receiving orders for booking out of tools and supply all tooling and accessories required by Setters or Supervisors. Assists with sharpening of tools. Recommend tools, equipment, machinery, and layout improvements or maintenance. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues. Perform general housekeeping duties and maintain a safe and clean work environment. Matric or Maintenance certification preferable. At least 1 years of experience in a similar role. Basic Computer Skills. Problem-Solving Skills. Time Management Skills. Excellent written and verbal communication Skills. Strong technical expertise in a machine manufacturing environment. Good work ethics. Good listening skills. Physical and mental strength required. Ability to deal with pressure.
